Frigomeccanica S.p.A. was founded in 1962 in Sala Baganza (Parma) in the heart of the Italian food valley, where products which are known all over the world are produced, such as Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, dressed pork products such as Parma raw ham, Felino salami and Zibello culatello, to mention only some.
Thanks to the firm position, which is not casual and allows a daily exchange of experiences with other firms working in the meat and cheese processing and seasoning sector, Frigomeccanica could gradually assimilate the producers’ needs.
Frigomeccanica developed food seasoning plants and refrigeration system technologies to keep the correct temperature and humidity values inside the rooms, and to assure a perfect and uniform air distribution, in order to have the same conditions in every area of the room.
Due to these important conditions dressed pork products and cheese producers succeed in obtaining the qualitative standards they wish: loss in weight, aroma, uniformity and constant production.
The great experience gained along the years allowed Frigomeccanica to appear on the global market with its products which can meet different needs as regards their typology, seasoning and processing at an international level in Europe (Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia and Greece), Israel, in Northern, Central and Southern America (Argentina, United States, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Cuba), China, up to Australia.
